On Saturday 29 October, Mid Ulster Auctions hosted their first Macmillan coffee morning, and what an immense success it was!
The event was hosted and tremendously organised by the management and staff of MUA in nothing short of a set-up to challenge that of the Bake-off! A delightful and an amazing £1,260 was raised on the morning all in efforts for Macmillan Cancer Support. All the support has been greatly appreciated. A heartfelt thank you is offered to all the staff, volunteers and local organisations who took part by baking or donating for the event. To all customers for donating and making the event such a success. A special thank you is extended to director Marie Lennon who baked in true Mary Berry style. Additionally, to local organisations C3 Computers, JC Stewarts and DJ Print, whom all contributed hugely to the events success. Without the volunteers the event could not have happened, with a particular mention to the women of the Magherafelt & Cookstown Macmillan Cancer Support Committee.
